El único texto que está ligado a mi sweater irlandés



Mi sweater irlandés huele, y huele bien, huele a Irlanda.

Y de sus lejanas tierras, se trajo el secreto de la humedad, pero no de la humildad. Su única etiqueta, rústica y lisonjera, lleva años guardada en un cajón, y hoy la encontré. Reza así:

Around 1860, John O´Shea, a journeyman thatcher, is credited with wearing the first true hand-knit Aran jumper ever seen in the Parish of Monasterevan.

His wife, Kate, carefully incorporated only authentic traditional Aran designs in her famous woollens from then on.
